Advanced topics in structural steel design. Topics include composite floor systems; bolted and welded connections; beam-column connections; innovative lateral load resisting systems. As part of this course students design a CEE 15-story steel building. Prerequisite: basic course in structural steel design CEE 182 or equivalent.
