For genetic counseling students only. Students will conduct role plays to develop skills explaining common modes of inheritance, taking family histories and drawing pedigrees and educating patients. Additional time will be spent observing in clinics and case conferences to provide additional background for the start of their clinical practice. Assignments accompanying role plays and observations will supplement learning.
