A new course taught entirely in Persian offers a unique opportunity to explore Iranian cinema in its original form. Through an analysis of Iranian films and weekly discussions, students will explore the trailblazing world of Iranian cinema as a window into the art and culture of a pivotal country in the modern Middle East. Important note: fluency in Persian is required in order to enroll in this class. Preference given to Global Studies/Iranian Studies minor students.
