Human Biology Synthesis

Capstone course series for HUMBIO seniors. Expands the work of the student's Area of Concentration. The Synthesis allows students the opportunity to craft a culminating, creative work of scholarship based on a synthesis of personal and academic interests, including service projects. Students should begin their synthesis either in the third quarter of Junior year or the first quarter of Senior year.Participation in the HUMBIO Senior Symposium during Spring quarter is required. Students should enroll in either 3 units for two quarters or 2 units for three quarters. Prerequisite: acceptance into the synthesis program: https://humanbiology.stanford.edu/capstone/synthesis.
