Topics: More microcontroller hardware subsystems: timer systems, PWM, interrupts; analog circuits, operational amplifiers, comparators, signal conditioning, interfacing to sensors, actuator characteristics and interfacing, noise, and power supplies. Lab fee. Limited enrollment. Prerequisite: ME 218A or passing the smart product design fundamentals proficiency examination.
