This 1-unit interactive service-learning course will allow students to understand the pathways and principles of ethical and effective service through a variety of activities and service treks around the Bay Area. This is an opportunity for students to experience their first engagement with the Haas Center for Public Service and the realm of public service: no prior affiliation or experience required! This course is open only to sophomores and Frosh Service Liaisons and is repeatable for degree credit. This is a Cardinal Course certified by the Haas Center for Public Service.
