The topics include: Schrodinger equation, multidimensional systems, quantum mechanical tunneling, Dirac notation, postulates of quantum mechanics, harmonic oscillator, vibrational modes in molecules and solids, approximate methods including perturbation theory and the variational method. Introduction to molecular structure methods.
