Undergraduate Internship Experience

UNITS:1
GRADING:Satisfactory/No Credit
LEVEL:Undergrad
GER:—

For undergraduate students only. Students must enroll in both Spring and Autumn quarter offerings bridging their summer internship (i.e., same calendar year). If students wish to use MATSCI MATSCI 169 towards the MSE capstone requirement, two separate enrollments (4-units total) must be completed. Prior to the internship, students will draft a plan to maximize their internship experience. This document must also address the intended learning goals students have for their internship experience. Following the internship, students complete a research report outlining their work activity, problems investigated, key results, and any follow-on projects they expect to perform. The report should clearly address how the technical results and/or their learning relates to at least 5 out of the 7 MatSci UG learning outcomes (see https://mse.stanford.edu/major#LOs).
