Modeling, analysis, and measurement of mechanical and electromechanical dynamic systems. Closed form solutions of ordinary differential equations governing the behavior of single and multiple-degree-of-freedom systems. Stability, forcing, resonance, and control system design. Prerequisites (completed the following courses): CME 102 (or MATH 53), PHYSICS43 (or ENGR 40A or ENGR 40M), ENGR 15. An AP Physics C E&M Score of 5 can also fulfill the Physics requirement. Prerequisites strictly enforced.
