This course offers a compressed version of OB 374 Interpersonal Dynamics (aka 'Touchy Feely'), designed to provide a rich, growth-oriented experience in a group setting. It focuses on the learning and application of interpersonal skills while being less intensive and time consuming than the full OB 374 course. Learning occurs primarily through structured in-class activities, small learning groups, outside practice, and a weekend T-group retreat. The course includes five class sessions, each lasting three hours. Classes meet twice a week during the first two weeks and once during the third week. Our full-weekend retreat, held at a remote location on May OB 15-OB 16, 2027 is a facilitated t-group format. [This year we are holding the retreat at 1440 Multiversity, a retreat center in Scotts Valley. Please look at the FAQ document for more information about this location]. During the fourth class session, T-groups will be introduced in preparation for the retreat. This is a highly experiential course where learning depends on the active engagement of each participant. By enrolling, you are making a clear commitment to participate fully. The course is designed to enhance both self-awareness and interpersonal effectiveness and can be emotionally challenging at times. Important Note: This course is not a substitute for therapy. If you are currently in therapy, we strongly recommend discussing your participation with your therapist before enrolling.
