Sea Kayaking 2: Kayak Touring

Sea Kayaking 2 is designed to introduce students with beginner to intermediate level kayaking skills to kayak touring. Sea Kayaking 2 will review and expand skills learned in Sea Kayaking 1, including basic strokes and maneuvering, rescues, and navigation. Sea Kayaking 2 will equip students with more advanced strokes and recovery methods, as well as introduce students to concepts relevant to planning sea kayaking expeditions. The class will include a multi-day kayaking trip to a local area.
