Creative Gym: A Design Thinking Skills Studio

UNITS:1
GRADING:Satisfactory/No Credit
LEVEL:Graduate
GER:—

Build your creative confidence and sharpen your design thinking skills with analog-architected interventions. This experiential studio engages students with fast-paced, hands-on exercises that train your intuition and expand the design context from which you operate every day. You'll develop mental, emotional and physical foundations for agency, cognitive flexibility, and a strong bias toward action - skills expert designers use across every phase of their process. You won't be sitting back and taking notes - you'll be moving, making, and failing forward in every session to grow your personal toolkit for tackling design challenges across any discipline, and in your everyday life. Published scientific research based on this course curriculum shows that performing these class activities will expand your creative capacity in statistically significant ways.
